Monster March 2024

We are transforming the Monster March into a weekend-long extravaganza! Wee Wild Ones has partnered with the Calgary Marathon to host our 6th annual Monster March Campaign in support of the Big Brothers Big Sisters!

What is the Monster March?

The Monster March was started by Wee Wild Ones in 2017 as a way for families to come together, have fun and support children and families in need. Over the last few years, Wee Wild Ones has raised over $130,000 for the Children’s Cottage Society through the generosity of our families, community and organizations! This year we are shifting focus to a new non-profit organization known as Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Why We March: Big Brothers Big Sisters

At the heart of Monster March is our commitment to supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS). They are a non-profit organization there mission is to provide mentoring programs for children and youth facing adversity. BBBS’ matches adult volunteers, known as "Bigs," with children and teenagers, known as "Littles," in one-to-one mentoring. These relationships are designed to provide positive role models who can offer guidance, support, and friendship.

This year, Wee Wild Ones aim to raise $25,000 to aid Big Brothers Big Sisters! Read on to learn more about the Monster March and how you can participate!
